    This is a .3 liter etched or incised stein made by Marzi & Remy of Germany around 1900. It is 6.5" to the top of the pewter finial of the lid which is firmly attached to the handle through a 3
    ring hinge. Saying is flanked by mythical  woodland creatures. Translation is from The Stein Collectors International website.
